Wall cracks and sinking tiles appeared last week on the faculty floor of the New Academic Building (NAB) “due to temperature deformations caused by the usage of different construction materials,” Facilities Director Lyudmila Dzakova said.

On November 5, AUBG's Student Conduct Council (SCC) decided to impose the following sanctions on ELI student Eni Kaci. He is (1) "no longer allowed to live on AUBG campus;" (2) "no longer allowed to continue enrollment in ELI;" and (3) he "will not be allowed to return to AUBG in the future to live on campus or enroll in any university programs."

The new and shiny Skaptopara 3 will soon open its doors to students. The plan for the AUBG campus is to expand with the Student Center. Everything that students need will be in one place. Very convenient, but a little boring.

Interview with Cosmina Tanasoiu

This fall AUBG students welcomed back European Studies (EUR) professor Cosmina Tanasoiu, who was away on a sabbatical last year. Tanasoiu left AUBG to "recharge batteries," as she said in a 2008 interview for the Verve Magazine. She spent her time teaching at the George Washington University (GWU) during the fall semester, and doing research at the Harvard University in the spring. Today she shares her thoughts on these universities.
