Pierre Hassner, research director emeritus of the Centre for International Studies and Research spoke about the role of the United States and the European Union in maintaining world stability during a lecture held on November 26 in the New Academic Building (NAB) Auditorium.
$2,500 for Seniors

Provost Ann Ferren and her husband Jonathan D. Fife donated $2,500 to the Student Travel Fund in order to create a bucket allocated specifically to seniors. The donors specified that this amount should be accessible to students presenting their senior theses research during international conferences, Vice President for Finance and Administration Alexander Alexandrov said.

Arben Konedarev, Skaptopara 1 residence hall director, resigned from his position to pursue a career in law after 11 years at AUBG. A few people at the university know Konedarev outside the workplace, beyond his "Public Enemy" award at the 2008 More Honors ceremony.
