Club Juliany will be hosting the first Miss AUBG 2010 beauty competition among AUBG female students on April 12. The event will be organized by the AUBG Pageant Club, and funded by the wedding salon Veliza, hairdressing salon G&D, Spa Harmony and ladies' fitness salon Nov Siluet and the Student Government (SG). The competition sponsors will also adjudicate the competition.
“It is my old dream. I used to listen to ten different online radios,” Crasilscic said. “Why not make something without advertisements, just playing good music,” he added. The music he plays reflects him, “it is full of energy and positive feelings.”
The Journalism and Mass Communications (JMC) department acquired seven still cameras that were delivered at the beginning of January. The new Nikon D300s will be used exclusively by photojournalism students.
Writing and Literature professor Alan Hickman and Journalism and Mass Communications professor Phelps Hawkins initiated a movie nights series for AUBGers, which is held every Wednesday at the New Academic Building (NAB) Auditorium.
