A play worth living through

Passion, age and relationship doubts mixed successfuly in "Three Tall Women," a play by Edward Albee which was shown April 21 and 22 in the Nikola Vapcarov theatre Chamber Hall of Blagoevgrad.

Winner of the 1994 Pulitzer Prize, the play is currently performed at the finest theaters around the world. Professor Nedyalko Delchev embarked on the challenging task of appropriately staging such a meaningful, passionate, intelligent and well written play.

Iceland exchange student

Ómar Őrn Karlsson is an exchange student from Iceland who is at AUBG for only one semester, but is eager to learn as much as possible about Bulgaria and Southeastern Europe. “I knew I wanted to go to Eastern Europe,” Karlsson said. Of the few choices he had, he wanted to go to Poland and Bulgaria most.

Student Representative to the Board of Trustees (BoT) Edlira Dashi presented her report on the January 29 BoT meeting in Washington, D.C. The report addresses the educational, residence, political and cultural life on campus. "The idea of this report is to tell about things that students are actually concerned about", Dashi said. However, some points in the report need clarification.
