The English Language Institute (ELI) will move to the Main Building (MB) basement during the winter break. The renovations of the space previously occupied by the AUBG library will be completed on November 20, Director of the Facilities Office Lyudmila Dzakova said.

Nobody knows for sure how the idea of the Soviet Party originated. Seniors and juniors from the ex-Soviet community cannot remember for how many consecutive years the Soviet Party has been celebrated or the exact year when it was held for the first time. Today, it is a traditional event at AUBG, along with the SG Party and the Drunken Eagle.

AUBG administration developed a strategy to prevent the outbreak of the H1N1 virus, also known as swine flu. The prevention plan includes quarantining potential carriers and asking professors to report students missing lectures.
