About us
It all began in 2003 with a group of students struggling with the concept of electronic media for a class assignment. The publication started as The Wire, later to become defacto.
Aside from being a daily on-line news outlet, defacto is the only print news publication on campus. Since November 2006, the AUBG community gets their news in print with the defacto biweekly newspaper.
From day one, defacto has grown to be AUBG's reliable news source and arena of public debate.
